The project involves the comprehensive design and construction of a new multi-story Energy Innovation Building, spanning approximately 56,500 gross square feet. This significant development will house a diverse range of facilities, including modern offices, advanced research laboratories, and dedicated teaching labs. A key feature will be a capstone design laboratory, providing specialised space for student projects. Additionally, the building will incorporate a versatile flex-design event space, offering adaptability for various functions and gatherings. The scope also extends to the creation of flexible outdoor spaces, designed to foster engagement and interaction among users. This initiative is structured as a collaborative design-build agreement and is subject to Public Works and Prevailing Wage regulations.
