Naíonra Philib Barún C.L.G. plans to construct a new pre-school (naíonra) building on its land adjacent to Gaelscoil Philib Barún in Tramore, Co. Waterford. The current naíonra operates from a prefabricated building on the Gaelscoil's site, which will be demolished and the site reinstated once the new facility is operational. The proposed building is expected to have a floor area of approximately 200 square metres and will include at least two classrooms/activity rooms, each with two child-friendly toilets, one accessible toilet, an office with independent access, storage facilities within each classroom, a cleaners' room, and a plant room. Naíonra Philib Barún C.L.G. intends to engage a Single Point Design Team for the design, contractor procurement, construction management and supervision, and certification of the new naíonra and associated works. Project progression is dependent on successful funding applications to An Roinn Forbartha Tuaithe, Pobail agus Gaeltachta.
