Bliesterrassen Phase 3, Neunkirchen
Germany's Neunkirchen is developing Bliesterrassen Phase 3, integrating Lübbener Platz to create a continuous, accessible riverfront promenade. Deadline 09 Oct 2026
The Kreisstadt Neunkirchen is initiating the third phase of the Bliesterrassen project, aiming to seamlessly connect the Lübbener Platz area with the previously completed first and second phases. The overarching goal is to establish a continuous, barrier-free riverfront promenade that enhances the quality of public spaces along the river. A central feature of this phase is an approximately 200 sqm Bliesterrasse, complemented by an adjacent tiered seating area. The project also involves the accessible redesign of the existing foot and cycle path along the Blies, alongside creating a pedestrian and maintenance-vehicle accessible link from Gasstraße to the river. This development is closely coordinated with the structural planning and the simultaneous construction of the new Sparkasse headquarters, which includes a garden courtyard and parking deck. While the preliminary, detailed, and approval planning (phases 1-4 HOAI) have already been conducted externally, this tender specifically seeks architectural services for the subsequent phases (5-9 HOAI), encompassing detailed design, procurement assistance, construction supervision, and post-completion support for the outdoor areas.
