The objective of this Request for Proposal is to establish comprehensive architectural design services contracts tailored to education facilities, supporting both on-call and project-specific needs. These contracts will align with campus operations, governance requirements, and long-term capital planning for the University of Washington. The successful suppliers will provide members access to experienced education firms, transparent engagement models, and flexibility across multiple delivery methods, including CMAR, Design-Build, Agency CM, and Job Order Contracting. The scope encompasses comprehensive planning, design, documentation, and construction-phase support for upcoming facilities and interior projects. Key services include architectural design for new construction, renovations, and additions, campus master planning, feasibility studies, space programming, ADA compliance, and historic preservation. Specialty services may also include sustainability consulting, laboratory and research facility design, athletic and recreation facility design, and healthcare and clinical space design. The project phases will cover pre-design/programming, schematic design, and design development, ensuring thorough evaluation, stakeholder engagement, conceptual design, and refined architectural drawings coordinated with various consultants.
