Tralee Secondary School
A public tender has been issued by Kerry ETB for architectural services to lead a sustainability-focused upgrade of Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí in Tralee.
This project involves the upgrade and minor refurbishment of the existing Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí school facilities in Tralee. The works will be delivered in line with the standards set by SOLAS, the Department of Education (DOE), and the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS). Key tasks include upgrading windows, doors, sanitary facilities, internal finishes, mechanical and electrical elements, and implementing sustainable practices such as energy efficiency and low-waste construction. The overall aim is to ensure the school remains operational, safe, and environmentally efficient, while complying with Irish statutory requirements. All work is to be carried out with minimal disruption to school operations, and site-specific health and safety plans are mandatory.
