The complex comprises the Adolph Kolping Vocational School, a private vocational school for special pedagogical support, which has grown into the largest special needs vocational school in Lower Franconia. Additionally, it includes the Kolping Education Centre, which accommodates unaccompanied minor foreigners, and the Kolping Middle School with a therapeutic day care facility. The centre provides crucial support to young people with special educational needs, aiding their transition into training and employment. The scope of work encompasses the energetic, functional, and structural renovation of the existing buildings, spanning a net floor area of approximately 2,900 m² and a gross volume of around 23,000 m³. The primary objective is to establish a modern, economical, and sustainable educational hub for special needs provision, creating an inclusive and high-quality learning and working environment. The design must accommodate modern pedagogical approaches and diverse learning methods, prioritising sustainability through cost-conscious planning, resource efficiency, and the use of eco-friendly materials, alongside optimising the building's energy performance. The renovation will be carried out in three phases while the facility remains fully operational.

20261109

Kolping-Mainfranken GmbH is undertaking a comprehensive renovation and development of the Adolph Kolping Education and School Centre in Würzburg, Germany, a pivotal facility for special needs education.
