Established in 1971, the programme is recognised as the UK\u2019s premier competition dedicated to outstanding timber design and construction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"960\">The awards recognise projects that demonstrate innovative design, technical skill and high-quality craftsmanship, while promoting the environmental and aesthetic value of wood as a sustainable building material. Submissions are divided into two main areas: <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"765\">Buildings<\/strong> \u4ee5\u53ca <strong data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"793\">Furniture &amp; Objects<\/strong>, with categories covering sectors such as residential, commercial, restoration, interiors and bespoke or production furniture.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1337\">Entries are assessed by independent juries composed of leading architects, designers and industry specialists, who review submissions and visit shortlisted projects in person.
