British Museum BIM Framework, London
The British Museum is establishing a BIM consultancy framework to enhance building information management across its UK estates and capital projects. Deadline 20 May 2026
The British Museum's Estates & Capital Projects Department (ECPD) is seeking a Building Information Management (BIM) Partner to establish a framework. This initiative aims to enhance the use of building information throughout the lifecycle of its properties. The ECPD has identified a need to better understand its built environment, improve data management and access, boost data efficiency, and optimise both its CAPEX project delivery and OPEX operational activities. A single supplier will be appointed to this four-year framework agreement, ensuring a consistent approach and providing the Museum with the flexibility to call off consultancy assistance as required. The framework will operate by providing the appointed supplier with a specification for each call-off contract, for which they will submit a proposal detailing a delivery team and resource schedule, priced according to pre-agreed day rates. This competitive flexible procedure will shortlist three participants based on a questionnaire and qualitative questions, followed by a tender phase evaluating proposed teams, methodology, delivery factors, social value, and day rates.
