The project also includes the design of a commercial truck inspection pit strategically located near the adjacent Motor Carrier Services (MCS) scale site. If rehabilitation is chosen, the selected consultant will proceed to develop detailed plans and specifications for a subsequent construction contract. Should reconstruction be deemed necessary, MDT may explore a design-build delivery method for the next phase.
