This new, high-performance facility will be meticulously designed to adhere to the most stringent current standards for food quality, local sourcing, sanitary safety, and environmental sustainability, ensuring an efficient and responsible production tool for all partner communities. The initiative is initially being managed by a collaborative group of ten communes, with strategic plans for a dedicated Public Local Company (SPL) to assume long-term ownership and operational responsibility. This SPL will involve not only the initial communes but also other public stakeholders keen to participate in this forward-thinking endeavour. The comprehensive budget allocated for both the design studies and the subsequent construction works is estimated at \u20ac15.12 million, inclusive of kitchen equipment and decontamination. The provisional programme outlines a total duration of 34 months, comprising 14 months dedicated to the design studies and a further 20 months for the construction phase, excluding the 12-month perfect completion guarantee period.
