The scope includes assessing and modernising the energy concept to enhance efficiency, though a ventilation system with heat recovery or air conditioning is not planned. The client prioritises bright, welcoming spaces with durable and easy-to-maintain flooring. The appointed contractor will finalise the pre-approved preliminary design, which includes the building's layout on the site, play areas, and parking. The commission will be phased, with Stage 1 covering HOAI phases 5-7 and Stage 2 covering phases 8-9. Additionally, the planning encompasses external areas such as access paths, bicycle stands, and the playground layout, with playground equipment being procured separately.
