Tender qualification for the complete €50m renovation of a university department building from shell and core, in southern Germany.
The existing buildings are to be stripped back to their shell and a full reconstruction undertaken to provide office and seminar space with a total area of approx. 24,400 sqm.
The buildings are to be optimised in terms of room layout and adapted to the current standard in terms of technology and energy. In doing so, the preservation of the original architectural concept of the university planning as a whole as well as the preservation of the design language of the individual parts of the building must be taken into account.
In 2011, the University of Konstanz was added to the list of architectural and cultural monuments in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The interests of the monument protection authority must therefore be taken into account during the renovation.

– Statement on economic standing and insurance limits
– Average number of employees over the last three years
– List of services provided over the last three years
– Two reference projects comparable to the tender
In the second stage further details on qualifications and experience of the team and their project management experience are required as well as a price breakdown. The second stage will be assessed 80% on quality and 20% on price.
