Qualification for a design competition for the creation of a new cinema extension to the existing performance hall in France.
The project will involve the demolition of the existing building behind the congress centre and replacement with a four-screen cinema, in addition to the creation of new artist and logistics areas within the existing congress centre and the partial renovation of the performance hall itself. There will also be some renovation works to the facade.

Three candidates will be invited to participate in a second stage design competition, each will receive €27k.
The qualification dossier requires project references – involving a cinema or performance hall over 1000sqm from the last five years.
