Aston University Consultancy Framework 2024
Aston University is planning to set up a new Estates Consultancy Services Framework to provide consultancy services for use with Construction, Refurbishment, Extensions and Infrastructure projects.
Founded in 1895 and a university since 1966, Aston is a long established research-led university known for its world-class teaching quality, and strong links to business and the professions. Aston has been a leading university for graduate employment success for over 25 years. The University has launched an ambitious new 2030 strategy, rooted in our home city of Birmingham, UK, setting out plans to create a new model of university for a changing world. Moving towards 2030, the university’s vision is to be a leading university of science, technology and enterprise, measured by the positive transformational impact it achieves for the people, students, industry, businesses and communities it serves.
In support of this strategy, Aston Estates will need to deliver a number of different projects. Aston Estates has a minimal in house team for designing, managing and delivering projects of this nature and so it uses external consultants to help it deliver these projects. Aston intends for the services under this new consultancy framework to start in August 2024. The types of projects that the framework will cover are: Construction, Refurbishment, Alterations / Extensions, Demolition, MEP, Infrastructure.
